Jewish National Fund |
Mission Statement:
The JNF College Activists Department is the student arm of Jewish National Fund, a non-profit organization celebrating over 100 years as caretaker of the land of Israel, on behalf of its owners- Jewish people everywhere. The College Activists Department focuses on creating student activists and leaders, while building awareness and support of Israel on college campuses through a variety of initiatives. Our premiere program is Caravan for Democracy, which drives constructive dialogue on college campuses throughout the U.S. by featuring different speakers from Israel to discuss the shared values of freedom and democracy that connect Israel and the U.S., as well as Israel's role as the only democracy in the Middle East. Through press briefings, meetings with professors, and on-campus lectures, Caravan for Democracy reaches out to the entire campus community. Other College Activist programs include JNF/Shorashim birthright israel trips, ECO-ZIONISM Programs, and Plant Your Roots Fundraising campaigns.
