Livnot U`Lehibanot |
Mission Statement:
Nestled in the hills of northern Galilee in the ancient city of Tzfat, and in the capital city of Jerusalem, Livnot U’Lehibanot is an intensive hiking, study, and work program for Jewish men and women between the ages of 21-30 (and college age when specified) who do not have an extensive Jewish background. The program combines rebuilding the land and structures in Israel, hiking throughout the country, and exploring Judaism in depth through a curriculum of study. Topics include Zionism, Jewish History, Israeli Current Events, Jewish Ethics, Relationships through a Jewish Perspective, the Holiday Cycle, and more. Spectacular weekly hikes highlight the program. Livnot runs programs year-round of 3 months, 6 weeks, 3 weeks, and 2 weeks.
