PANIM: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values |
Mission Statement:
PANIM: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values is a non-profit, non-partisan educational foundation dedicated to the renewal of American Jewish life through the integration of Jewish learning, values, and social responsibility. PANIM’s flagship programs, Panim el Panim: High School in Washington and the Jewish Civics Initiative, are four-day D.C.-based seminars which expose Jewish high school students to the workings of the American government and the political process, the Jewish community relations/public policy agenda, and the study of relevant Jewish texts and values. During the summer, we hold a three week program (JAM) in which high school students explore the connections between Judaism, activism and community service. PANIM offers several one-year fellowships for recent college graduates interested in pursuing careers in politics, public policy, non-profit management and Jewish education.
