Mission Statement:
Save A Child’s Heart is the largest undertaking in the world that provided urgently needed Pediatric Heart Surgery and follow up care for children from third world and developing countries. All of our many services are provided free of charge. Since our inception in 1995, Save A Child’s Heart has treated over 300 youngsters: The entire budget comes from donations from our many friends from around the world. The children we treat come from many parts of the world including, China, Ethiopia, Moldova, Ghana, Japan, Nigeria, the Palestinian Authority and the land of Zanzibar which is part of the Federation of Tanzania. Save A Child’s Heart also has a full outreach training program for the medical personnel of the participating countries. The goals are achieved in three ways. We bring doctors and nurses to our Center for in-depth training and our staff travels.
