Mission Statement:
The Shalom Center (a division of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal) draws on Jewish tradition and history to address the basic spiritual, political, and economic issues beneath environmental destruction, disemployment, overwork, and the destruction of community. The Shalom Center sponsors training institutes for Jewishly-rooted social activists and community organizers.
