Mission Statement:
The SSEJ is a grassroots organization whose membership consists fo young adults who care about the fate of Jews around the world. Our goals are: 1) to educate the public on the desperate plight of our Jewish brethren in Ethiopia, 2) to convince Jewish organizations to provide support for those in Ethiopia waiting for the Israeli government to process their claims, 3) to raise funds to support the Ethiopian Jews currently dying of easily curable and preventable diseases, 4) urge the Israeli government to speed up processing so that they may limit the hundreds of needless deaths caused by the delay and 5) fight for equality of Ethiopian Jews in Israel.
