Yad Sarah is the leading volunteer- staffed organization in the State of Israel. With the assistance of over 6,000 volunteers in more than 100 locations, Yad Sarah provided help to over 380,000 people in 2003 to address the home-care needs of the frail and the disabled as well as victims of terror, children with special needs, and homebound older adults. Yad Sarah's unique programs and services are financed almost completely by donations and over 80% of Yad Sarah's operating budget is raised in Israel. No government assistance is received .
