Campus Explore Israel Trip - May/June
The Campus Explore Israel Trip is a Hillel’s premier campus-based experience. Traveling with other students from your campus and community, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
National Explore Israel Trip - June 11- 22/ June 19- July 1/ August 7-17
The Explore Israel Trip is a Hillel’s premier national experience. Travel with new and old friends from across the country! You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Graduate Students/Young Professionals - May 27-June 8/ August 13-25
Travel with other grad students and young professionals from across the country! You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Baltimore Community - May 28 - June 8
A program designed specifically undergraduate and graduate students and young professionals currently in the greater-Baltimore area. You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Detroit Community - May 18 - 28
A program designed specifically for graduate students and young professionals currently in the Detroit area. You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Seattle/J-Connect - June 18 - 29
A program designed specifically for graduate students and young professionals from the Pacific Northwest. This special program will allow you to explore the major sites in Israel with other participants from your region. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Bi-lingual:ASL/Spoken English - June 14 - 24This trip is open to people who use ASL, spoken English or both as their primary language. Traveling with your peers, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news. Knowledge of American Sign Language is not required for this trip. ASL interpretation will be available to make all educational content accessible and facilitate communication among participants.
Arts and Culture - July 10-22Participants on the Arts and Culture trip will meet Israeli artists, have time for their own creative pursuits and discover what has inspired artists of all media from around the world. And in addition, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Outdoor Adventure – Land - July 13-24
Participants on the Outdoor Adventure – Land trip will get to know the land of Israel, literally. Hiking in the Golan Heights, camping in Negev desert, biking, and so much more! And in addition, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Outdoor Adventure – Sea - July 13-24
Participants on the Outdoor Adventure – Sea trip will get to know the three seas of Israel – Med., Red and Dead. Swim in the Mediterranean, snorkel in the Red Sea and float in the Dead Sea are all part of this amazing adventure. Raft down the Jordan River and go boating in the Kinneret. And in addition, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Austin Community - August 4- 14
A program designed specifically for graduate students and young professionals currently in the greater-Austin, TX area. You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
Journalism/Jewish Literature - August 11-20
In partnership with the Jewish Book council this trip is for anyone interested in Jewish Literature or Journalism. This trip will accept students, writers and journalists who want to experience Israel and learn specifically from and with top Israeli and foreign writers and journalists in Israel. This special trip will also put Israeli journalists and writers on the trip for the full 10-days as full participants in the Taglit experience. You will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.
