Alternative Break Opportunites Through Hillel

Hillel's Social Justice Tiyul 2010
Interested in exploring Israeli society and interacting with diverse communities?  Join us for Hillel’s Social Justice Tiyul 2010!

Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus life is offering Social Justice Tiyul 2010 to students who are studying in Israel or Europe, as well as to Israelis students.  Eligible applicants should be between the ages of 18-24 and still involved in undergraduate studies.  The 5 day program (May 17-22, 2010)will include 3 full days of hands on volunteer work, text study, a real Kibbutz experience and the opportunity to celebrate Shavuot and Shabbat.

Hillel/City Year Alternative Break
Join 50 other service-minded students around the country in one of 3 locations – Los Angeles, New York, or Miami.  This trip is a partnership between Hillel and City Year and will provide an opportunity to stretch beyond the everyday by coming together through hands-on service, team building and the exploration of social justice and Judaism.  


Hillel's New Orleans Alternative Break
Join the growing community of over 3,100 Hillel students that have helped rebuild Mississippi and Louisiana since 2005. These one-week trips focus on hands-on service, community interaction and the exploration of social justice and Judaism.
