Hillel is gearing up for a great school year, and we want you to join us.

This week, more than 600 Hillel professionals and student leaders are in St. Louis for Hillel Institute. They’re preparing to engage students on campuses across the country and around the world, inspiring every Jewish student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel.

You can take part in some of our biggest events via Facebook Live, on our Facebook page:

  • Join Hillel International President and CEO Eric D. Fingerhut Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. ET as he addresses students at the Engagement Institute Opening Session;
  • On Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, join our evening program: “Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof: Justice, Justice You Shall Pursue,” featuring diverse Jewish perspectives on the importance of engaging our communities towards justice. The program will feature Deborah Lipstadt, Jewish studies professor at Emory University and subject of the new film, "Denial"; Yavilah McCoy, CEO of VISIONS, Inc.; and Rachel Sumekh, founder of Swipe Out Hunger.
We'll also be live on Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter all week long. Make sure to follow #EngageIRL and #Hillelinstitute on each channel.
