This scholarship was created to encourage study of the manifestations, character, and consequences or anti-Jewish hostility. Indiana University Bloomington graduate students must be pursuing research/study of antisemitism. Undergraduates who are Jewish Studies majors, certificate students, Jewish Studies minor and Hebrew minor may apply.

Jules and Gwen Knapp Campus Leadership Award

Jules and Gwen Knapp believed deeply in the power of higher education to transform the lives of individuals and families. The Jules and Gwen Knapp Campus Leadership Award is awarded annually to a full-time student seeking a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university who demonstrates extraordinary leadership abilities and has a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish and commit to attending at least one Hillel event in the upcoming school year. Previous attendance at Hillel events is NOT a requirement for this scholarship.

The Behrman Campus Leadership Award

The Behrman Campus Leadership Award is being awarded to two full-time students seeking a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university who demonstrate extraordinary leadership abilities and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish and commit to attending at least one Hillel event in the upcoming school year. Previous attendance at Hillel events is NOT a requirement for this scholarship.

Hartford Jewish Community Foundation Scholarships

Jewish students who are residents of the Greater Hartford Connecticut area are eligible for a $3,000 scholarship. Applicants must be accepted or currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning, be a U.S. citizen, and demonstrate some form of financial need.

Fritz Halbers Fellowship

The LBI offers a fellowship for students enrolled in a Ph.D. program at an accredited institution of higher education. The fellowships provide financial assistance to scholars whose research projects are connected with the culture and history of German-speaking Jewry. Applicants must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program.

Esther Rose Shnier XI Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau Scholarship

The Schusterman Center annually offers two Shnier Scholarships of $3,000. The scholarships are open to any individual who, has completed at least 30 credit hours and is a full-time, regularly enrolled student of the University of Oklahoma. Applicants must major or minor in Judaic Studies and/or a minor in Hebrew.

L.J. Craig and Alice Craig Engineering Scholarship

The scholarship was created to support Jewish students at the University of California, Berkeley in the College of Engineering. A scholarship of approximately $3,000 will be awarded to 6-10 students who fit the criteria and fulfill the wishes of the Craig Family. All scholarships are for a single year and students may apply the following year. Preference of at least one of the scholarships will be given to a student studying abroad in Israel. Any student interested in applying should complete the online application by April 23, 2019.

Estelle Seldowitz Endowed Scholarship

This annually awarded scholarship provides up to $3,000 for students pursuing a course of study of or including Jewish Studies. The Jewish Studies Program director, in consultation with program faculty, awards the scholarship in the late spring based on the GPA performance of the majors and minors (and intended majors and minors).
