The UCLA Maurice Amado grants are intended to defray costs associated with short-term research or study in the field of Sephardic studies. Awards will be made in the $1,000 – $1,500 range.
UCLA undergraduates in all majors are eligible to apply as long as the project is focused in some way on Jewish Studies. Priority will be given to proposals with a connection to civic engagement and/or social ethics.
Scholarships will support programs of study, internships, or research projects that apply the knowledge of the Jewish experience, and especially the lessons of the Holocaust, to contemporary society and social justice issues. Preference will be given to Jewish Studies majors or students whose area of study relates to Jewish issues and learning.
Established in 1977 by a provision in the Will of Harriette Stormes in memory of her son, the Malcolm Stacey Scholarship is restricted to needy, Jewish students with preference for students majoring in aeronautical engineering.
The Program in Jewish Studies is very excited to offer two, $500 Jewish Studies undergraduate scholarships. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in at least your second course toward the minor. If you have taken two or more classes towards the minor, please consider applying!
Current Jewish Studies Major. The recipient will be known as the "Aaron Scholar" for the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded. The recipient must plan to be enrolled at UT for the full academic year (two semesters) following the application deadline.

The Marcy Finerman-Lewis Scholarship supports an undergraduate student majoring in Communication at the University of Arizona. Required GPA of 3.0 available to undergraduates students currently registered for a minimum of 12 units and who demonstrate financial need.
