There will be five scholarships of approximately $10,000 awarded annually. These scholarships will be eligible for renewal.
Applicants must be Jewish, a minimum age of 16 years, and a permanent and legal resident of Los Angeles County – for a minimum of three years. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited public or private college, university or vocational school in the U.S., and maintain a minimum 2.7 GPA for every semester or quarter enrolled
The Henriette & Marcel Korner Scholarship is awarded to students in their 1st or 2nd year of study at a Montreal CEGEP. Applicants must provide a high school transcript, show proof of Quebec residency, and show a history of involvement in the Jewish community.
The Thérèse & David Bohbot Scholarship is awarded annually to needy university students who require additional assistance for living expenses. Applicants must provide a transcript of grades and show proof of Quebec residency.
The Carrie Jacobi Scholarship is awarded annually to a Jewish high school senior or college student pursuing higher education at a technical school, college or university. Applicants must be Jewish, have a permanent address within the service area of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City, and be legal residents of Oklahoma.
This scholarship is awarded to Jewish female undergraduate students, attending a four-year California university program. Students must show academic excellence, achievements in leadership, and involvement in athletics. Applicant's parents must be permanent residents of the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
This scholarship is awarded to Jewish undergraduates who are accepted to or attending an accredited undergraduate college or university program. Students must show outstanding academic record and financial need. Student's parents must be permanent residents of San Francisco area.
The Maria and Marek Spatz Scholarship Fund is a $5,000 one-time scholarship for one incoming or current undergraduate student. Top applicants will have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and a demonstrated impact of leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish.
The Bernard Warshaw Scholarship Fund is a $3,000 one-time scholarship for five incoming or current undergraduate students. Top applicants will have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and a demonstrated impact of leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish.
This scholarship is awarded to Jewish students accepted into or attending an accredited college, university, art or music institution. Preference to high school seniors graduating from Jewish Community High School of the Bay, Kehillah Jewish High School, Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy, or a dedicated public school arts program.
