This $1,000 scholarship is for students who seek to or are in the process of launching a new company. Any current College/University/Grad School student enrolled in a 2-year, 4-year or graduate program during the 2019-2020 school year is eligible. Ephraim Urbach Grant

The International Ephraim E. Urbach Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Jewish Studies is funded by the MFJC with the World Union of Jewish Studies. Its purpose is to assist a limited number of outstanding recent recipients of the PhD in a field of Jewish studies in publishing their first book and launching their scholarly career.

Erna B. Rosenfeld Scholarship

This scholarship was created to encourage study of the manifestations, character, and consequences or anti-Jewish hostility. Indiana University Bloomington graduate students must be pursuing research/study of antisemitism. Undergraduates who are Jewish Studies majors, certificate students, Jewish Studies minor and Hebrew minor may apply.

Estelle Seldowitz Endowed Scholarship

This annually awarded scholarship provides up to $3,000 for students pursuing a course of study of or including Jewish Studies. The Jewish Studies Program director, in consultation with program faculty, awards the scholarship in the late spring based on the GPA performance of the majors and minors (and intended majors and minors).

Esther Rose Shnier XI Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau Scholarship

The Schusterman Center annually offers two Shnier Scholarships of $3,000. The scholarships are open to any individual who, has completed at least 30 credit hours and is a full-time, regularly enrolled student of the University of Oklahoma. Applicants must major or minor in Judaic Studies and/or a minor in Hebrew.

Esther Sarick Bursary in Jewish Studies and the Arts

Awarded annually for the support of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the York archeological field study course in Israel. The bursary may also be given to students pursuing other aspects of Jewish Studies, including Fine Arts, History, Philosophy and other disciplines.
