Any student who has formally declared Jewish Studies as a major, including previous scholarship recipients. The recipient must plan to be enrolled full-time at UT as a Jewish Studies major in the semester following the application deadline.
Undergraduate students of the Jewish faith are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to student applicants who demonstrate financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA.
The Berol-Shindell Scholarship provides partial tuition scholarships to Jewish students in financial need who are currently attending or entering the University of Washington. The Harold Schnitzer Family Scholarships offer Judaic Studies majors renewable tuition support of $5,000-$7,000 annually for a student's entire undergraduate career at PSU (up to a maximum of four years). Applicants may be entering first-year students, transfer students, and current PSU students who are pursuing their B.A. in Judaic Studies.
Jewish students, open to all majors. Preference – Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering majors, and orphans.
For high school seniors, male or female, involved with the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY), B'nai Brith Youth Organization (BBYO) or the United Synagogue Youth (USY) and headed to college in Fall 2025, we offer the the James Alexander NFTY Scholarship ($1000) and the Hanno Mott USY Scholarship ($1000) and the SAM Alumni BBYO Scholarship ($1000).
Scholarships for Dallas area students headed to college in Fall 2025 who are involved in the Jewish community and intend to continue their involvement in college. Student must be based in the Dallas area, involved in Jewish activities and in the Jewish community and accepted to and planning to attend college full-time in Fall 2025. Minimum 3.25 GPA (high school) is required. Students must be involved is Jewish activities.
For study at Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI). All Jewish high school students living or attending school in the Greater MetroWest community are eligible to receive a grant of up to $2,000 for study at the AMHSI lasting one full semester or more, and up to $1,500 for study lasting six to eight weeks. Once you are certain of your attendance at AMHSI, please fill out the application form.
The Peter Chortek Leadership Award is available to Jewish high schoolers in San Diego, CA and is an award of $5,400 that students may use towards their undergraduate education.
The Jeffrey D. Sollender College Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior in San Diego County who plans to attend a four-year college or university. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding achievement in entrepreneurial ventures or community service, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have a gross family income of no more than $100,000 per year.
