Florida-Israel Institute Scholarship
The Florida-Israel Institute offers 25 full-time scholarships each semester to Israelis wishing to study in Florida. This scholarship serves as an out of state tuition exemption for Florida public colleges and universities. It is sponsored by the State of Florida to promote Florida-Israel friendship, business, and education.
Dr. Fred Weinberg Memorial Scholarship in Jewish Studies
Student enrolled in a specialist or Major Program in Jewish studies on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered.
Israel Experience Scholarships for HS Students
The Jewish Federation of Broward County is accepting applications from high school students seeking to participate in recognized Israel programs before high school graduation. To qualify, participants must be: entering 10th to 12th grade, and be members of Broward County Jewish households (including interfaith families).
Sylvia Tuman Scholarship Program
The Sylvia Tuman Scholarship Program administered by The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation provides a limited number of scholarships for Jewish students who require financial assistance to further their education. Students must be enrolled or accepted into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college or university located in Miami-Dade or Broward counties
Jewish Education Loan Fund of Florida
Applicants for the Jewish Educational Loan Fund (JELF) must: be Jewish, be a legal resident of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia; be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. institute; and, be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
Rabbi Morris Margolies Study Abroad Scholarships
Some scholarships to study Jewish Studies abroad were donated by KU alum, Mr. Harvey Bodker in honor of the memory of Rabbi Morris Margolies, senior rabbi at Congregation Beth Shalom and longtime professor of Jewish Studies at KU.
Kansas Jewish Study Abroad Scholarship

Upper Canada Lodge B’nai Brith Scholarship in Canadian Jewish Studies
Awarded to an outstanding student in the area of Canadian Jewish Studies. If no suitable candidate can be found in the area of Canadian Jewish Studies, the scholarship may be awarded to an outstanding student in another area of Jewish Studies.
Beskin Memorial Scholarship Award
The Theodore H. and Esther Beskin Memorial Scholarship Award is given annually to a worthy local Jewish senior high school student. The recipient is selected on the basis of outstanding achievement and diligence in academic, personal, community endeavors, and other pertinent criteria.
