The Gildenhorn-Winer Scholarship in Israel Studies

The Joseph and Alma Gildenhorn Institute for Israel Studies (GIIS) is grateful to Michael and Catherine Gildenhorn and Carol and Michael Winer for their generosity in creating an annual scholarship for an outstanding UMD student pursuing a minor in Israel studies. With the Thalheimer Israel Scholarship, the Jewish Federation offers young adults in Arkansas the chance to study and travel in Israel.
