The Ruth and Victor David Scholarship is a $4,000 award to a Quebec student enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in Montreal; based on need and merit. Applicants must provide a transcript of grades, show proof of Quebec residency, and show a history of community involvement.
These awards are for juniors who have serious and developed interest in some aspect of the subjects Harry Caplan loved: ancient Greek and Latin cultures; medieval Latin literature, especially drama; ancient Jewish culture; and rhetoric.
Fellows will work with librarians and archivists on projects such as researching, designing, and curating exhibits, digital humanities initiatives, and other programs based on archival materials, as well as conduct their own original research.
The Paulson Leadership Award is designed to support the pursuit of higher education of Jewish students who demonstrate leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher to qualify and the applicant’s parents/guardians must not have completed a four-year college or university degree.
