Given annually to a student who excels in Biblical and Rabbinic studies, i.e. humanities courses 2810, 3810, Hebrew courses 3320, 3330, 3370 and any course deemed to be acceptable by the Centre for Jewish Studies Awards Committee.
Given annually to a graduate or undergraduate student who has demonstrated interest in Holocaust studies by virtue of course work or research projects. The award may be Used for study in Israel and is based on demonstrated financial need.
The Bentson Family Scholarship is given to students of the Jewish faith. University of Minnesota academic scholarships are highly competitive. Admitted freshmen are considered for these scholarships based on an overall assessment of the application for freshman admission. No separate application is needed.
Provides scholarships for aspiring law students at either the University of Nebraska College of Law or Creighton University School of Law. Students must also display a commitment to community service.
The Benjamin Goldberg Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher enrolled in the Jewish Studies certificate program. Applicants must have a FAFSA form on file with Arizona State University Financial Assistance office. One half of annual amount will be awarded each semester.
The Benjamin G. Shatz Scholarship is awarded annually through the generosity of Benjamin G. Shatz (class of 1992) and assists second and third-year students with financial need and active membership with the Jewish Law Student Association. Must be a current student at Pepperdine School of Law.
The Benjamin D. and Miriam Pessin Education Assistance Fund provides provides a $2,500 scholarship to qualified students pursuing a business degree. Applicants must demonstrate scholastic achievement and financial need.
The Jewish Federation of Omaha Foundation administers the Benjamin & Elizabeth “Bess” Stern Scholarship Fund. This fund provides significant scholarships (currently up to $15,000) to qualified students willing to pursue graduate studies at Creighton University, the University of Nebraska Omaha, or the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
This scholarship was donated by Mr. Georges Benarroch, and will be awarded annually to one or more students.
