This scholarship is given to a student that demonstrates financial need with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students seeking business/law degree are preferred. Applicants must be a Jewish resident of the Cleveland area, have a family household income of $150,000 or less, and plan to or currently attend a four year college or university.

William Ze’ev Brinner Graduate Student Fellowship

The William Ze'ev Brinner Fellowship for graduate students was established in the spring of 2014. Professor Brinner taught Arabic and Islamic studies in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Berkeley from 1956 until his retirement in 1991, and served as Chair of the Department several times.
