The Presidential International Travel Fellowship or "PITF" is a scholarship created by former OU President David L. Boren to support international travel for study abroad. Student awards will be given on a competitive basis to qualified students whose financial needs are not being met by other channels.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarship support for students in graduate programs affiliated with Towson University's Baltimore Hebrew Institute. Awards are granted to graduate students earning a post-baccalaureate or master’s in a Judaic Studies program.
The Sara Glasgow Cogan Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to full-time Judaic Studies majors or minors who undertake credit-bearing internships in local Jewish communal and cultural organizations. This scholarship will cover the cost of internship for six credits of tuition for 1-3 students.
To be eligible, applicants must be graduate student earning a post-baccalaureate certificate or master's in a Judaic Studies program at Towson University. This scholarship is awarded to graduate students in the Judaic studies program with a GPA of 3.4 or higher and taking two or more three credit courses per term.
Awarded to graduate students in the Judaic studies program at Towson University who are working in the Jewish community a minimum of 20 hours per week or teaching in a Jewish religious or day school a minimum of 2 hours per week.
To be eligible, applicants must be a graduate student earning a post-baccalaureate certificate or master's in a Judaic Studies program at Towson University. This scholarship provides ongoing support for students in graduate programs affiliated with Towson University's Baltimore Hebrew Institute.
