Santa Cruz Hillel is a home away from home for Jewish students at the University of California Santa Cruz, Cabrillo College, and CSU-Monterey Bey. We seek to provide a vibrant and welcoming community, regardless of knowledge or background. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Our goal is to share our Jewish values and experiences to positively enhance campus culture through our partnerships, presence on campus, and in the community.

Santa Cruz Hillel offers bi-weekly Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, Birthright trips, Jewish learning opportunities and fellowships, and community-building events.

Santa Cruz Hillel partners with our local temples and religious groups and connects students with their services. Our partners include Temple Beth El (reform), Chadesh Yameinu (Renewal), Chabad, and the TzimTzum Collective (queer-centered).
