North Carolina is a great place to be Jewish! North Carolina Hillel is the foundation for Jewish campus life for colleges and universities across North Carolina, where we serve 8 different campuses. Our mission is to provide students at North Carolina's public universities with opportunities to strengthen their Jewish identities. We do this by creating community; inspiring social justice and intellectual and spiritual growth; and deepening student connections to the Jewish people and the world. At NC Hillel, we believe creating meaningful Jewish experiences for college students, from Purim parties to trips to Israel to leadership development, fosters an enduring connection to Jewish life in our community's future leaders.This Hillel serves: North Carolina State University, Raleigh; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of North Carolina, Greensboro; East Carolina University; Appalachian State University; University of North Carolina, Wilmington; University of North Carolina, Charlotte; University of North Carolina, Asheville. Any students attending a UNC system school are welcome at programming at their closest NC Hillel campus.

Jewish Experience Through Hillel
NC Hillel offers student programming on 8 UNC system campuses, a statewide Birthright trip and Onward Internship experience, and statewide programming throughout the year.

Welcome Back Shabbat
Reconnect with old friends and meet new students, all while celebrating Shabbat. A short service will be held, followed by Shabbat blessings and a catered dinner.
Hummus Happy Hour
Attend a hummus-making workshop led by the owner of local business Hummus Y'all, and learn about Israeli culture through food.
The Great Hillel Games
Compete in various lawn and Minute-to-Win-It games to gain points toward a grand prize.
