Explore Lester and Jewell Morris Hillel Jewish Student Center

MSU Hillel is a "home away from home" for Jewish students on campus. It's a place for students to come together and have fun socializing in a Jewish environment. Students come to study, enjoy a delicious kosher Shabbat dinner, hangout with friends, celebrate Jewish holidays, participate in various community services events and athletic programs. Shabbat dinner is always free, as well as Sunday brunches, which are offered once a month. MSU Hillel participates in Birthright Israel and Alternative Break trips.

Kosher Dining

MSU Culinary Services offers a kosher meal service program at the Kosher Cuisine venue at Wilson Dining Hall, Holmes Hall and Brody Square Dining Hall. Kosher meals are served during the dinner meal period, starting at 4 p.m., Sunday through Thursday of each week. To accommodate kosher rules, all foods served through the program are prepared in a kosher kitchen at Woody's Oasis restaurant in East Lansing. The program is certified by Kosher Michigan (www.koshermichigan.com). All meals served through the program at the dining hall are identified with a "Kosher" food icon. Kosher meals are also available at MSU Hillel during Shabbat dinners, holidays and monthly Sunday brunches.
