Explore NOVA Hillel
NOVA Hillel (supported by Mason Hillel) brings relationship-based Jewish community and engagement beyond George Mason University to college-age and college-stage young adults across Northern Virginia. We welcome Northern Virginia Community College students, commuters, graduate students, interns spending the summer in the area, and young adults who may not currently be enrolled in school but are looking for meaningful Jewish connection and community. Through pop-up tabling at NVCC campuses, holiday celebrations, Shabbat dinners, social events, mentorship, and programs like the NOVA Summer Network, NOVA Hillel helps young adults build friendships, explore Jewish life, and find belonging in ways that feel authentic and accessible. We invite students to connect with our Regional Engagement Director to grab coffee, learn more about opportunities in the area, and help shape Jewish experiences that are welcoming, meaningful, and built around the needs of Northern Virginia young adults.
