Explore Hillel at the University of North Carolina, Asheville
UNCA-Hillel seeks to provide a community for Jewish life on campus. We welcome both Jewish and non-Jewish members, and strive to provide our students with the Jewish tradition and support they would have at home. We also seek to raise awareness of Jewish life and culture on our campus, where Judaism is a religious minority. As based upon the values of the statewide North Carolina Hillel, we are seeking to create a pluralistic and welcoming environment, foster student growth and the balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human, and advance tzedek (social justice), Jewish learning, and spirituality.
