Located in our on-campus space, Hillel Home, students are always welcome to stop by to study, hang out with friends, grab free snacks, or enjoy a great cup of coffee. With a well stocked snack kitchen, including an ice cream freezer, cozy couches and giant bean bag chairs, games, crafts, a gaming system, and a big-screen TV, Hillel Home is designed to feel exactly like what it is: your home away from home. Join us for Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, Jewish learning opportunities, social events, service projects, and spontaneous moments of connection and community. Whether you come every week or just stop by between classes, there’s always a place for you here. Led by Executive Director Rabbi Heidi Coretz, Director of Jewish Student Life Ali Vogel, our dedicated Student Board, and Advisory Board, Hillel at SMU serves a vibrant and growing community of more than 600 Jewish Mustangs.
