1909 Scholarships

All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and will be scored based on academic performance; chapter, campus and community activities and financial need. Applicants for undergraduate scholarships MUST be initiated members of Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEPhi) who are rising juniors, and seniors. These women must be full-time students for the coming year. Graduate applicants must have completed at least one year of graduate studies prior to applying.This scholarship shall be awarded to the undergraduate and graduate applicant scoring the highest among all applicants and shall be in the amount of $1909.

Abner and Fortunee Soriano Scholarship

Established by Veronique and Hylton Jonas in memory of Veronique's parents who were committed community leaders and supporters of Israel. This scholarship is awarded to a deserving Jewish student enrolled in an institution of higher learning.

Abraham & Eleanor Staff Scholarship Fund

ewish Federation of Northeastern New York (JFedNENY) has a limited number of scholarships, each of which has specific eligibility requirements. Please review the criteria for each scholarship and apply only for those you may be eligible. Some of these scholarships may only be granted to students with a relationship to the Northeastern New York area (Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga, Glens Falls, etc.)

CUNY, Brooklyn College

Abraham S. Goodhartz Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to an outstanding Judaic studies student of Brooklyn College with demonstrated financial need.

Abram and Fannie Gottlieb Immerman Memorial Fellowship

This fellowship supports original doctoral or post-doctoral research in the field of Lithuanian Jewish history for a period of two to three months of research at the YIVO Library and Archives. These fellowships carry a combined stipend of $6,000 and require a public lecture by the holder.

University of Central Florida

Abram W. and Mollie Lefkowitz Scholarship

Eligible Jewish students may either be undergraduate or graduate students of any college within the University of Central Florida. These students must be graduates of a high school from either Orange, Seminole, Osceola or Brevard Counties, and show a need for financial aid.

University of Colorado at Boulder

ACE Jewish Arts Grant

In partnership with ACE: Arts, Culture and Education at the Boulder JCC, the ACE Jewish Arts Grant supports undergraduate and graduate students as they produce creative works.

Hofstra University

Adrienne and Charles E. Grodberg Endowed Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving and qualified student(s) selected on the basis of academic achievement and/or financial need, with preference given to a student(s) who demonstrates dedicated commitment to strengthening Jewish life at Hofstra University.

AJC Goldman Summer Fellowship

AJC's Summer Fellowship Program is designed to develop future leaders in the areas of international and domestic politics, diplomacy, public relations, and management. This competitive fellowship gives undergraduate and graduate students the unique opportunity to work in AJC offices in the U.S. and throughout the world.

AJS Conference Travel Grants

The Association for Jewish Studies remains committed to supporting wide participation in its Annual Conference. In particular, the AJS seeks to support untenured faculty, graduate students, independent scholars without full-time employment, parents/guardians of children needing care during the conference, and international scholars who receive little to no institutional support for AJS conference attendance. All accepted presenters (Speakers, Respondents, or Chairs) are eligible to apply.
