Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust has established this scholarship as a legacy in honor of Dorace and Morton Fichtenbaum and their lifelong commitment to the local community. The Frank Joseph & Elaine Sara Garron Memorial Scholarship is given to full-time graduate or undergraduate students (tuition-based scholarship). Applicants must self-identify as Jewish, be a resident of the Greater Cleveland area, and have a family household income of $150,000 or less.
One (1) or two (2) fellowships will be awarded each year to deserving scholars engaged in graduate level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives facility in New York or Jerusalem. The amount granted will range from $2,000 to $5,000 per fellow.
