Fritz Halbers Fellowship

The LBI offers a fellowship for students enrolled in a Ph.D. program at an accredited institution of higher education. The fellowships provide financial assistance to scholars whose research projects are connected with the culture and history of German-speaking Jewry. Applicants must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program.

The Fromer Fellowship was established in 1994 with a gift from Dr. Carl Fromer in memory of his mother Irene C. Fromer, and is to be given to a deserving graduate student in Jewish studies researching ancient Jewish history. Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies

The Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies is an annual student competition with awards up to $500. A submission may take the form of an essay, research paper, poem, drama, film, artwork, musical composition, or other creative expression.This scholarship is only for Augustana students.
