This scholarship is awarded to two first-year Jewish students actively involved in their local Jewish communities. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.00, demonstrated involvement and ability as assessed by an Admission counselor, and a willingness to serve on Birmingham-Southern College’s Hillel Student Advisory Board.

NCJW l LA provides scholarships to those who live and attend school in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties. The Kapson Scholarship helps Jewish students attend a university, college or technical institute in Indiana. A committee of Jewish community members will review eligible candidates based on the motivation of the student to receive a higher education along with merit and financial needs.
