A minimum award of $500 to support travel or research, awarded to seniors and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, pursuing a concentration in Jewish Studies within the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. This scholarship awards upper division and graduate students engaged in studies about Jews or Judaism, providing a stipend to pursue a research project under the direction of an ASU faculty advisor. Lilly E. Reiser Graduate Student Award

The Lilly E. Reiser Graduate Student Award through Hillel International is given annually to a Jewish student who will be attending graduate school in the U.S. in the upcoming school year and who has demonstrated academic excellence and made a difference in their community. Applicants must have completed or be on track to complete their undergraduate degree by June 30, 2024, and be attending graduate school in the fall of 2024. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish. Previous attendance at Hillel events is NOT a requirement for this scholarship. There is no requirement for the concentration of study.
