The Jeffrey D. Sollender College Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior in San Diego County who plans to attend a four-year college or university. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding achievement in entrepreneurial ventures or community service, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have a gross family income of no more than $100,000 per year.
Scholarships are open to full-time University of Oklahoma undergraduate and graduate students for semester-long study abroad programs in Israel. Priority is given to graduate students concentrating in Jewish History and undergraduate students who have declared a major or a minor in Judaic Studies or a minor in Hebrew.
Intended for Ethiopian Israelis after they complete their army service. Each student receives full tuition, tutoring, and a laptop computer.
Awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students on the basis of high academic achievement, sustained engagement with youth via regular involvement or leadership in Jewish educational programs, and completion of one or more approved Jewish Studies course(s). Awarded by the Faculty of Education’s Committee on Student Affairs on the recommendation of the Coordinator of the Jewish Education Programs.
This award is granted to a member of the Ottawa Jewish Community who has displayed leadership qualities and academic excellence. Applicants must be Jewish, between the ages of 18 and 30, and must either be a member of or a student in the Ottawa community. The award must be used for formal education.
The Jewish Federation of Omaha Foundation administers the Benjamin & Elizabeth “Bess” Stern Scholarship Fund. This fund provides significant scholarships (currently up to $15,000) to qualified students willing to pursue graduate studies at Creighton University, the University of Nebraska Omaha, or the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
