The Alexander M. and June L. Maisin Foundation Scholarship Fund is awarded to Jewish high school seniors. Students must show strong academic record, leadership potential, and financial need. Student's parents must be permanent residents of San Francisco, the Peninsula (Sunnyvale and north), Marin, or Sonoma Counties.

Aleksander and Alicja Hertz Memorial Fellowship

This fellowship supports doctoral or post-doctoral research on Polish-Jewish history in the modern period, including the Holocaust period, and Jewish contributions to Polish literature and culture. This fellowship carries a stipend of $8,000 for three months of research at the YIVO Library and Archives.

Albert Strickler Memorial Fund

The fund provides an interest-free loan of up to $5,000 to medical students, preferably of the Jewish faith, who demonstrate a significant need for financial aid and are enrolled in an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school.

This fellowship encourages the timely completion of doctorates and creates a cohort of fellows who will lead the field of Jewish Studies for decades to come. Launched in 2016, this program awards seven fellowships annually ($20,000) to PhD students entering the final year and completing a dissertation in Jewish Studies.

AJS Conference Travel Grants

The Association for Jewish Studies remains committed to supporting wide participation in its Annual Conference. In particular, the AJS seeks to support untenured faculty, graduate students, independent scholars without full-time employment, parents/guardians of children needing care during the conference, and international scholars who receive little to no institutional support for AJS conference attendance. All accepted presenters (Speakers, Respondents, or Chairs) are eligible to apply.

Abram W. and Mollie Lefkowitz Scholarship

Eligible Jewish students may either be undergraduate or graduate students of any college within the University of Central Florida. These students must be graduates of a high school from either Orange, Seminole, Osceola or Brevard Counties, and show a need for financial aid.
