The Center for Jewish History offers ten-month fellowships to doctoral candidates to support original research using the Center's collections. Preference is given to candidates who draw on the library and archival resources of more than one partner institution. Fellowships receive a stipend of $22,500 for one academic year.

The Bernard Choseed & Mendel Racolin Memorial Fellowship support original doctoral or post-doctoral research in the field of East European Jewish studies. These fellowships carry a stipend of $20,000 and are for a period of three months of research at the YIVO Library and Archives, as well as two public lectures by the holder.

The Leo Baeck Institute offers this award to a scholar or professional in an early career stage, whose proposed work would deal with historical or cultural issues of the Jewish experience in German-speaking lands. The grant is intended to provide for the cost of obtaining scholarly material and help in research and production needs.
