Partners and External Resources

Hillel International works with several partners to help fulfill its commitment to provide safe, respectful, and equitable programs and spaces. 

Sacred Spaces is a highly-respected organization dedicated to helping Jewish organizations operate in a culture of respect and safety. Hillel International has worked with Sacred Spaces on national and local consultations and can help you arrange a meeting with one of their experts to discuss specific issues or incidents.

Safety Respect Equity Coalition (SRE) is an initiative to ensure that Jewish workplaces and communal spaces are safe, respectful, and equitable and that sexual harassment, sexism, and gender discrimination are no longer tolerated in the Jewish community. As part of their work, the Coalition put together a set of standards for creating safe, respectable and equitable workplaces, which is in the process of being adopted by Hillel International. Once adopted, additional resources will be created for each local Hillel.
