Members of the Hillel International Student Cabinet represent a diverse cross-section of campus experiences, Jewish backgrounds, geographic regions, and academic interests. Each year, the Cabinet is led by student co-chairs and supported by Hillel International staff.
The Student Cabinet serves as a trusted advisory body, representing student needs, strengthening connections across campus communities, and providing strategic counsel to Hillel leadership.

The Student Cabinet shows Hillel’s commitment to putting Jewish students at the forefront of its work. As co-chair, I’ve gotten to work with dedicated student leaders and staff to ensure Jewish students everywhere are uplifted and supported.

Four Pillars of Impact
Student Cabinet members participate in a Fall Summit in Washington, DC, and in monthly virtual sessions. Between these engagements, they contribute in four key ways:
Student perspectives are essential to shaping Hillel’s direction. Cabinet members provide grounded, real-time insight into campus life, helping ensure that organizational priorities and decisions reflect the lived experience of Jewish students.
Cabinet members partner with Hillel International staff to share ideas and strengthen movement-wide initiatives. This collaboration translates into programs that resonate with students across diverse campus contexts.
Cabinet members work in tandem with Hillel professionals to represent and advocate for the inteServing as trusted advisors, Cabinet members contribute to select conversations with senior leadership, and at times, the Board of Directors. They bring a student lens to discussions on strategic direction and movement-wide priorities.
By representing diverse student voices, Cabinet members help ensure that decision-making reflects the breadth of student needs and experiences across the global Hillel movement.
