Jonathan Paradise Modern Hebrew Study Prize

The Center for Jewish Studies will award this scholarship to an undergraduate student who will be enrolled in Hebrew 5090 – Advanced Modern Hebrew. Students must be in good academic standing at the University of Minnesota, with no less than a 3.5 GPA or its equivalent and a 3.8 GPA in modern Hebrew.

Jordan and Elise Levin intend to pave a pathway for college students to celebrate and participate in Jewish life. The Jordan and Elise Levin Scholarship for Jewish Enrichment and Education is a $5,000 one-time scholarship. Awards are available to three exceptional current high school seniors, gap year students, college first-years, sophomores, and juniors in good standing with their current academic institution. Top applicants should have a GPA above 3.5, demonstrate financial need and identify as Jewish. All scholarships may be awarded for study within North America.
