Max Weinreich Center Research Fellowships

The Max Weinreich Center Research Fellowships is awarded for scholarly research in YIVO’s library and archival collections. These fellowships are intended primarily for graduate students and emerging scholars. Each fellowship requires a public lecture to be held during or immediately after the fellow’s research period.

Medwin/Krouner Pharmacy Scholarship

The Fund provides a stipend to a Jewish student (or students) at the Albany College of Pharmacy. The recipient will be chosen based on character, academic record, service to the Jewish community as demonstrated through interests, activities, and financial need. Priority is given to students who are connected to the Capital District.

Meisel Family Scholarship

The Meisel Family Scholarship is awarded to a promising undergraduate student, with a minimum 3.0 GPA required. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish, be a resident of the Greater Cleveland area, have a family household income of $150,000 or less, and plan to or currently attend a four year accredited college or university.

Melissa Wides Foundation Education Scholarship

The number and amount of scholarships varies from year-to-year. The scholarship is available to students with documented intellectual or physical disabilities, or students majoring in a field to assist individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.

Memphis Jewish Federation Lemsky Endowment Fund

Rising high school juniors and seniors in the Memphis Jewish community are eligible for up to $3000 in funding to participate in a recognized summer or semester program in Israel, while high school graduates in the Memphis Jewish community are eligible for up to $4000 in funding to participate in a recognized gap year, summer, or semester program in Israel (through age 32)

Meyer Award for Asian and Middle Eastern Studies

The William and Theresa Meyer Award for Asian and Middle Eastern Studies is given to a student engaged in any form of humanities or social studies focusing on the Arabic-speaking countries, Israel, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Burma, Thailand, China, Korea and Japan.
