The Behrman Campus Leadership Award

The Behrman Campus Leadership Award is being awarded to two full-time students seeking a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university who demonstrate extraordinary leadership abilities and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must self-identify as Jewish and commit to attending at least one Hillel event in the upcoming school year. Previous attendance at Hillel events is NOT a requirement for this scholarship.

The Gildenhorn-Winer Scholarship in Israel Studies

The Joseph and Alma Gildenhorn Institute for Israel Studies (GIIS) is grateful to Michael and Catherine Gildenhorn and Carol and Michael Winer for their generosity in creating an annual scholarship for an outstanding UMD student pursuing a minor in Israel studies. The Jack and Harriet Kudine First-Year Student Scholarship will be awarded to three graduating high school seniors preparing to seek a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. Applicants must demonstrate a record of leadership and/or volunteer service in any aspect of their local community, and must also self-identify as Jewish.

The Thérèse & David Bohbot Scholarship is awarded annually to needy university students who require additional assistance for living expenses. Applicants must provide a transcript of grades and show proof of Quebec residency.

Toledo Jewish Community Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to students attending The University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Owens Community College and Lourdes University. The level of support is approximately $2,000 per student and is renewable upon review of the advisory committee.
