The Jewish Federation of Broward County is accepting applications from high school students seeking to participate in recognized Israel programs before high school graduation. To qualify, participants must be: entering 10th to 12th grade, and be members of Broward County Jewish households (including interfaith families).

The Sylvia Tuman Scholarship Program administered by The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation provides a limited number of scholarships for Jewish students who require financial assistance to further their education. Students must be enrolled or accepted into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college or university located in Miami-Dade or Broward counties

Applicants for the Jewish Educational Loan Fund (JELF) must: be Jewish, be a legal resident of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia; be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. institute; and, be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.

The Meyerhoff Center has several scholarship funds for students in the areas of Jewish studies and Israel studies. Most but not all of these funds are earmarked for students who will travel to and then study at an Israeli university.

The Meyerhoff Center supports Jewish studies and Israel studies scholarship both on campus and abroad. Majors and non-majors planning to study at an Israeli university are eligible for scholarships. To learn more, visit the application site and click on “For Other Students."

This scholarship is awarded to Jewish college students whose primary residence is within south Palm Beach County (Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Highland Beach). Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 to receive funding.

The Jewish Federation of Lee & Charlotte Counties will award scholarships through this Education Scholarship Program to Jewish residents who are pursuing post-secondary education. Recipients must be under 30 years of age and priority will be given to full time students.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation offers need-based assistance for Miami-Dade County residents, ages 15-26. Funding is one time only, and awards are based on need and length of an approved Israel program, which must contain Jewish educational content.

The Joseph Horowitz Israel Travel Grant is available through the Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Lee and Charlotte Counties. The grant may be used for travel to Israel to participate in programs that are volunteer or educational in nature.
