NEW YORK In recognition of their years of service and leadership, Hillel International will honor Tina Price, chair of Hillel’s board of directors, and Larry Moses, senior advisor to the Wexner Family and Foundation, at its annual Spring Celebration, celebrating Jewish life on campus, on May 21, at Capitale in New York City. Preceding the Spring Celebration, Hillel will also honor Northwestern University President Morton O. Schapiro at its annual Global Leadership Symposium at Baruch College.

“The commitment and support that both Tina and Larry have given to the Hillel movement throughout the years serve as a model of how enthusiasm and dedication by leaders and mentors who commit their lives to this community can help us not only succeed but excel at developing the next generation of Jewish leaders,” said Eric D. Fingerhut, President and CEO of Hillel International. “I am honored to present Tina and Larry with Hillel’s highest honors to publicly recognize that dedication and their role in Hillel International’s vision of engaging with and enriching the lives of every Jewish student.”

Tina Price, Chair of Hillel International’s Board of Directors, will receive the Renaissance Award, Hillel’s highest honor. The award is bestowed on an individual whose bold vision and transformative initiatives enrich the campus, the Jewish community and the world, which Tina has done in her three-year term as Chair, which comes to a close this summer.

“In my three years as the chair of Hillel’s Board of Directors, I’ve been so inspired by the students and professionals who are at the heart of our movement and feel proud of all we have achieved,” said Price. “Hillel International is truly leading the way in providing a home for Jewish students on campus while preparing them to become the future of the Jewish community. I look forward to staying connected and supporting the work of Hillel as I step down from my term as chair.”

Larry Moses, the senior philanthropic advisor to the Wexner Family and Foundation, will receive the Edgar M. Bronfman Award, presented to a current or former Hillel professional who has served the movement with distinction and honor, and whose impact is outstanding and lasting, like Edgar himself.

“The mission of Hillel closely mirrors the goals I have sought to achieve throughout my career, to enrich the lives of Jewish students and make a lasting impact on the Jewish people in these ever changing and challenging times in which we live,” said Moses. “Being honored with an award that bears the name of someone who endures as a source of inspiration to me and countless others is deeply humbling, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many incredible professionals and students affiliated with this movement.”

Price and Moses will be honored at Hillel International’s 2019 Spring Celebration at Capitale in New York City on May 21. More information on the event, honorees and registration can be found here.
