This award is named to honor Stefa Berger, a young Jewish woman who perished in the Holocaust unable to fulfill her dream of becoming a physician. Helen Diller Family Grants and Fellowships

The Diller program provides funding for undergraduates and graduate students. Stipends and awards are made for research, travel, fieldwork, innovative teaching, and curricular development in Jewish Studies. Jack Schoel Scholarships

Awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students on the basis of high academic achievement, sustained engagement with youth via regular involvement or leadership in Jewish educational programs, and completion of one or more approved Jewish Studies course(s). Awarded by the Faculty of Education’s Committee on Student Affairs on the recommendation of the Coordinator of the Jewish Education Programs.
