The Ellen and Milton Cantor Israel Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship to a high school junior or senior from the greater Louisville area to help defray the cost of an Israel trip and enable that individual to participate in an approved month-long educational opportunity in Israel.

Ellen E. and Victor J. Cohn Education Abroad Scholarship Fund

Financial support is available for study at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Preference given to students attending Hebrew U for the entire academic year. Award is contingent on acceptance to Hebrew U and Ohio State approval of student travel to Israel. Florence Kaiserman Scholarship

The Florence Kaiserman Memorial Scholarship is primarily intended to assist Judaic Studies students wishing to enroll in an accredited study program in Israel. In some cases, it may also be used by Judaic Studies majors for tuition at The University of Arizona.

Frank Gilford Scholarship

Established in memory of Frank Gilford, a local young man who fulfilled his dreams of becoming an Israeli citizen and a member of the Israel Defense Force. This scholarship is for a student who is majoring in Jewish studies in Dallas or studying in Israel.

Fred and Ellen Lewis Fellowship

One (1) or two (2) fellowships will be awarded each year to deserving scholars engaged in graduate level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives facility in New York or Jerusalem. The amount granted will range from $2,000 to $5,000 per fellow.
