Merit scholarships are awarded to high school students ages 12-19 attending a program in Israel, a Jewish Camp, or some other form of educational Jewish program.
The purpose of the Israel Grants is to provide supplemental financial aid to be applied toward educational and Jewish identity-strengthening programs in Israel. This partial grant reflects the Federation's desire to increase the number of those who will have the opportunity to go to Israel. This is a one time grant. However, if money is available, students may apply a second time.
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation offers need-based assistance for Miami-Dade County residents, ages 15-26. Funding is one time only, and awards are based on need and length of an approved Israel program, which must contain Jewish educational content.
The scholarship program is designed to help applicants in financial need participate in trips to Israel with priority given to first time trips. Previous family trips or early childhood experiences living in Israel do not disqualify youth from applying.

The Harry Feldman Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student who is majoring in business and attending university in Montreal or in Israel. This scholarship is based on both need and merit. Applicants must provide a transcript of grades and show proof of Quebec residency.
