Reva and Sanford Lipson Student Support Fund

The Lipson scholarship provides support for students studying the history and culture of the Jewish people. Up to $2,500 can be awarded to TWO students. Applicants must be enrolled as an undergraduate at Ohio State with continued enrollment the following year. Applicants must have completed at least one Jewish Studies course.

Charlotte Susan Roth Memorial Fund Essay Contest

Essay topics can include any aspect of Jewish Studies (Bible, language, literature, history, culture of Israel, etc.) Open to any undergraduate or graduate student at Ohio State who has written a paper on a topic related to Jewish Studies. There are first and second cash prizes ($1,000 and $750, respectively).

Ellen E. and Victor J. Cohn Education Abroad Scholarship Fund

Financial support is available for study at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Preference given to students attending Hebrew U for the entire academic year. Award is contingent on acceptance to Hebrew U and Ohio State approval of student travel to Israel. Paulson Leadership Award

The Paulson Leadership Award is designed to support the pursuit of higher education of Jewish students who demonstrate leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher to qualify and the applicant’s parents/guardians must not have completed a four-year college or university degree. Jewish Scholarship Service of Greater Pittsburgh (JSS), provides need-based scholarships to qualified students in the Greater Pittsburgh area. This program is administered by Jewish Family and Community Services. With one application students are able to apply to more than 40 available family and scholarship funds.

Esther Rose Shnier XI Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau Scholarship

The Schusterman Center annually offers two Shnier Scholarships of $3,000. The scholarships are open to any individual who, has completed at least 30 credit hours and is a full-time, regularly enrolled student of the University of Oklahoma. Applicants must major or minor in Judaic Studies and/or a minor in Hebrew.

The $1000 Rosalyn W. Price Memorial Scholarship is open to any individual who is a full-time, regularly enrolled student of the University of Oklahoma majoring in Judaic Studies. Applicants must have maintained a 2.8 grade point average on a scale of 4.0.
